Yamaha Virago XV250

Last spring, in March 2006, I bought Yamaha Virago XV250.

I've never tried riding in my life under several circumstances. And only in the age of 29 I could permit myself my first bike. Why I bought this one exactly? Cause it is not so huge, its engine is not so crazy to damage itself and me in the first city ride, it's easy to be riden and it is chopper!!! I dreamt about choppers all my life!!!

It is very good to be used in the city, but in the highway it is not so stabile and with weak engine power. But I bought it exactly for the short rides. So, it suits me completely! It looks very confidently in the moving and standing. And if a stranger does not know every aspect of the bikes he will never know that its engine is only 250 cm3.

I partially customized it: I drilled in every muffler 4 holes (now it sounds more agressive and powerful), my friend helped me to make exclusive safety arches for me and for the back sitter, I changed the system of front lights, ordered sewing of coffers, painted it completely black.

For great customizers it was made nothing, but for the person who never tried even to touch bikes I think it is quite good - for his first year of existing.

Here you may look at my Yamaha Virago XV250:

There are several photo albums, trip to the USA and Europe is inclusive.

Nice looking and great bike to start out on. You will know when it's time to move to a larger one. Be safe.

I know it even now! As soon as I earn enough money and the buying of it will not influence my family budget

I dream to see Niagara Falls!!! When I have a possibility, I think it will not be a problem to contact you and ask for the guideness.

Great trip. Did you ever cross into Canada?

Years ago I rode a Yamaha 250 Exciter (Single cylinder). Made many a rode trip of 800 KM on it.

Maybe I should be looking for another 250....Lots of fun![/quote]

Just returned from the local bike shop and what was the 1st bike I see...250 Rebel new at 6K and a bit.

Who knows....maybe....save some wear and tear on the Classic by using it in the city.
