Hello

#1 Unread post by rickchard »

Hey guys! Been reading a lot on here and finally decided to register. I'm planning on taking the MSF course in the spring or summer.

I'm in Socal (Orange County) for college, but I live in Norcal (Saratoga).

As of now, I'm looking at the Kawasaki Ninja 250 or 500. I'm kinda on the short side (5'3"-5'4", haven't checked very recently but it's around there :P ) so I'm not sure if I'd "fit" on many other bikes. Can't wait to go back home and sit on some bikes.

Well, that's about all. Love these forums!

welcome abord Rick
I grew up in So. Cal ( by LAX), but spent lots of time in OC. Surfer Huntington, went clubbing out in Long Beach and hung out in the So. Cal bars listening to some old school punk music---those were the days!
good luck getting your license and MC!

ohh....enjoy a Double Double for me, wont ya?

My wife is 5'3", and the Ninja 500-R is about as tall as she can go. Good bike to have.

When you start moving up in displacement, you can always get a bike lowered. Just have somebody who knows what they are doing do the work.

Suzukis and BMWs. But BMWs are too expensive for me and probably not a good starter bike. :P I looked at the Suzuki GS500F, but it seems too tall. Guess I'll have to wait until I can sit on them to know for sure.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
:moose:
Enjoy a Double Double for me too, allthough I'm pretty sure it has a different meaning here north of the border.
