I need some help. I'm working on a 94 EX500. I can get it started and while it's cold I can rev it, but as it warms up whenever I give it gas it dies out. It seems to me that it's being flooded, but I'm far from the best wrench turner in the world. If anyone has any ideas what my trouble could be please let me know, any help is welcome. Thanks.

Is your choke onnnn??

Well since air gets less dense when it gets hot, flooding could be your problem. try leaning your bike out around a full turn. If you do, make sure you know EXACTLY where you had it before. Sometimes those lean/rich screws can get vibrated loose.

Is the vent to atmosphere open under your tank?
You may have vapor lock....try this out...take a straw..say from McDonalds...fold it in half and close the cap on the tank with the straw stuck into it...part of it protruding from the tank and part of it in the tank...this will create just enough space for the tank not to vapor lock...if the straw trick works then pull the tank and look at your smog lines especially whichever rus to atmosphere.
If that doesn't do the trick then try the adjustment at the carbs like Logitech suggested....I would try the simply things first before I tore into the carbs and messed with the screws.
