Any any opinion about BMW1200gs ??

Hi,
Anybody have or rode this bike before, seems a great one, BMW could need be fixed sometime???
looking for opinion...

I've heard it's a rather excellent motorcycle for what it's made for: quality German reliability, rugged, et cetera.

That is a GREAT bike, a big one, but a great one too. Two guys rode two, literally around the world on them. I cant find the article but they did. Would've torn lower end bikes to pieces...
And just look at it, how could you say no?

Are you asking how much a 2005 BMW1200GS should cost?

If this is your first bike you might want to think about this. It is a great bike but is very tall and a bit top heavy. A lot of bike for a beginner.
If you want this type of bike for a first bike look at the BMW F650GS. It might work better for you to learn on.

I test rode one yesterday. I was very impressed with the bike. It has an absolutely astonishing braking system. It handled low speed turns better than a bike half it's size. While not BMW's most powerful bike at 100 BHP, it has plenty of get up and go for just about anything. It would take me awhile to get used to the turn signals and the stock seat is not great. For me, at 6'1" it fit well with the standard seat, but I think you can get it with a lower seat as well. This model is the most attractive of the current BMW line up for my purposes.

so glad to hear those comment.... last yr i rode on my first bike, suzuki gs500, which is only good for beginner, i just so bored already,
and heard this 1200gs is a amazing bike, i thought if i got some cash just bought it for 2 yrs, play with it, and sell it later, is that great??
plus i'm a tall guy, 6.4, seems work,
