I don't do any real winter riding but had to take the bike in for some service recently here is cold Pennsylvania. So pulled out hte old snow suit and took the bike in for service. When I got home I found that I had melted the nylon material from the snow suit to my pipes. So the question os how do I get it off. I tried paint thinner to and that didn't work. Any thoughts on how to get it off would be greatly appreciated.

FRom what Ive heard, spray on oven cleaner works well for getting things off pipes, just make sure its hot and you dont get it on anything else. also using the finest steel wool for scouring works as well.

I have yet to test either of these myself though.
