also check out hyosung...

currently, they're the only ones here in the US that have a 250cc sportbike.
unlike europe... we don't have a lot of choices for smaller engine sportbikes.

GT250R has a very similar seating position to the Ninja 250.

Sevulturus, i dont know if this means that the seat positiosn are different but the GT250R's handlebars are much lower than a ninja 250. also the seat height is a couple inches higher than the ninja 250. take a look
the GT250R
the kawa ninja 250

I still found it to be a very similar feel to sit on both of them. The bars are a little lower and further away, but not enough to remove the "Standard" feeling.

Like I just told Lunchmeat, in the very near future, you're going to want something bigger. So save your bucks and hope you can sell the small cc bike.

Selling the small cc bikes never seems to be a problem. Unless you do something silly and assume that it'll sell for more then you paid for it (I've seen that a lot around here).

I have been looking at the Hyosung 250 too. It's a nice looking bike, but I think it's new to the US and I would be concerned about its quality and reliability.
