Total Motorcycle Bandwidth Upgrade! :)

In an ongoing improvement cycle Total Motorcycle's bandwidth has been upgraded from 600 Gigabytes a month to 800 Gigabytes a month. This translates into more speed and enjoyability for all!! WOOHOO.

Last year 6,800,000 riders visited Total Motorcycle and I hope many more riders discover, visit and join the growing family of Total Motorcycle members for 2007.

Thank you to all those who are site supporters as your donations have helped not only keep the site running by paying the bills but also going towards continuous improvements like bandwidth increases and pop up/ad decreases etc to make this site better and more enjoyable for all.

I don't normally point out a single site supporter but I want to pat Steven Longstreet (Storysunfolding) for his donation of $80 on the 23rd which I used towards the extra bandwidth costs that were badly needed.

Thanks for making Total Motorcycle your virtual motorcycle destination and please do consider becoming a new site supporter or renewing your site supporter status. To become a site supporter and get a site supporter tag by your name and be listed on the wall of fame click here: walloffame.htm

Mike

Very cool! If I had a job right now, I'd be donating too, but as I don't, I'm not! Anyway, that's very cool to hear, keep up the awesome work Mike!

I want to second that. I also want to point out that firefox doesn't see the paypal donation tabs on that page. Switch to ie and it's clear as day.

I love the site, I love you guys. Lets see what we can do to help mike out a dollar at a time. Hell, all you need is a $5 donation to get a hip bronze donor badge. What's $5? Hell, you can't even get a mcdonalds value meal for $5 anymore. TMW, that's a value that keeps on giving.

P.s.- no that is not a revised script from the NPR spring fund drive...

You are all MOST WELCOME for the site, community, upgrades and enhancements as well as (when I financially can) removing as many popups/unders and ads. :D

I never expect anyone to donate, but am very appreciative when I do get the odd donation every month or so. I try to do my best with what the ads revenue provides and provide 170,000 pages of good information free of charge. I don't believe that anyone should be forced pay for good information. All I ask is a little donation here or there to keep the bills paid, the ads low and some Mr Noodles for me to eat when you can afford to give anything.

For those that do not know, this is my full time job, I love supporting motorcyclists and motorcycling and Total Motorcycle is a reflection of that goal. :D

There is ALWAYS room for more visitors in the Total Motorcycle family, so please do keep getting the word out about TMW.

For those who run Firefox and wish to donate, even $1 helps in mass quanities (haha), here is my paypal address:

Paypal Payments: Paypal email address: mlepardATtelusplanet.net
(note: replace AT with @)

Thank you to all our visitors, members, supporters and advertisers for making Total Motorcycle such a great place for everyone to be a part of. :D

Yes sir, I am the man, man. :salute: Unless there IS another Mike here, then I'm in trouble, luckily it's not that common of a name...

I'm happy to hear you've also discovered the rest of Total Motorcycle. Some members don't even know there is a lot more to Total Motorcycle than just the community forums...

It's a big world out there, all yours to discover. :bike6:

Thanks Wrider for the very nice complement! If it's helping out motorcyclists and motorcycling, I'm there. :D I do enjoy talking and try to always give credit where its due. My job here is made easier by the great staff and members of the community. It's unoffical name should be the "Total Motorcycle family forums". :D

Mike has a full time job, it's called "TMW"

Thanks to generous supporters, he can actually spend his whole day keeping this site up and running. He makes his living off of this site that is free to use. That's why we have a few pop up/unders on here, it's how he generates an income. Now, if everyone felt the need to pop a donation in the mail or through paypal, many of those pop up/unders would disappear...

If only a half of our registered members donated $5, Mike would still only earn less than half of my annual salary. Out of that, he has to pay for bandwidth etc. Wouldn't leave a whole lot to live on, but at $5 a head, I'm sure Mike wouldn't say no....

What??? You're saying the spring fund raising drive isn't on yet!!!!
