Hi fellow BMers.
New to this group and site and the USA (ex pat Brit relocated 4/06)
1150 GSA

Riding around, seeing what's going on over here.
Rode East to West coast last year, and Seattle to Death Valley, plus a few local WA rides.
Started www.unchainedworld.com for riders to recommend independent services they have "discovered", that still needs recommendations for food, lodgings and mechanicals from around the globe. Starting a podcast in association with a UK bike mag to look at riding over here (send me your videos) and I'm going thro the WA State m/c instructor programme at the moment. But I need to fit in some serious rides this year again, unchained and interstate free. 06 I managed 18k miles and less than 60 were Interstate, plus I managed to remain unchained too.

Look forward to crossing paths with you and receiving your recommendations and digi vids too.

Give it time. There's never been an excess of Beemer pilots here at TMW, but maybe that will change now that you've formed a usergroup for them. BTW, what ever happened to that guy from South Africa, used to post here a lot... sapaul, wasn't it? Give him a buzz, maybe he can help drum up support.

Pam, of the people who post here a lot, I can think of you, 'SAPaul', and 'Andrew' who have BMW's. It's the same deal with Triumphs - we're few and far between on TMW.

Just a suggestion: maybe for the smaller European brands we should have a single Euro bikes forum? Get all the BMW, Triumph, Ducati, KTM, Aprilia, MV, Moto Guzzi, etc. folks together?

...another BMW problem is that there are some very strong BMW websites that are brand specific, then there are sites for GS's and these too are highly populated.

It's a brand thing. I like the idea of Euro Bikes.

given the logic mike might be for it. Brands could offshoot as they got bigger but would give you a point to rally from

of course another alternative is to keep the BMW thread at the top of the list with a pointless but addictive discussion, such as My favourite word, what I saw yesterday, how long is your hair today, the weather...you get the idea
I'd not advocate its use but I've seen it be successful.
