Now I know that they're only for abrasion protection, but other than that I like them.

Does anyone know anything about them? Reviews? Street tested? Mother approved?

Thanks,
Dave

Not a clue on those pants. But we're currently shopping for some riding jeans. At the least make sure you got good skid protection on the knees, hips and butt. In addition, we would like to find all the above along with removeable armored knees.

Hey, just curious to see if you ended up getting those pants. I'm looking into getting them myself, but I haven't seen any reviews on them at all.

I know it's inpolite to "bump" but it's been a while and I'm hoping someone has tried these by now.....

i have the shift "LODOWN" version. i like them, but I have one pretty major issue with them- they come in a 34 inseam, and then you have to get them hemmed. which is fine, i got mine hewned down to my 30/31 inseam.

the problem? after they are hemmed, the kevlar knee inserts are LOWER then my knee. i have great shin protection now i guess. LOL

If your 30 inseam or so, i'd watch out. I assume the version you are thinking about are the same deal, but can't confirm.

Look okay but like almost every other gear manufacturer, they seem to feel that people stop riding after their waist line goes above 38 or 40 inches.......finding gear for a B.U.F.F. (big ugly fat f.....'s) guys such as myself is a right bugger.

I am looking for new pants but was trying to find the ones with padded arse. Padding like football pants.
