I am new to the forum. I have not had a bike in 30 years. I am retiring soon and looking to buy again. I know there is no better place to get info from than those that love bikes. :D

Welcome back to riding, and welcome to TMW! Since you haven't ridden for so long, have you considered a refresher training course like the MSF Basic Rider course? That would be an excellent way to recall your riding skills. I would also suggest you go to a local dealer and sit on a few bikes. Things have changed dramatically since you last rode, and that will help you decide what style of bike you want to start on.

Keep us posted on your progress!

Welcome back to two-wheelin'! You've come to the right place for help and encouragement, so make yourself at home!

Welcome aboard! There's no better way to spend those retirement years than on a bike. Have fun getting reacquainted with it all (yes, the MSF course would be valuable and fun!). Let us know what bike you finally decide to buy. Enjoy the forums!

Cheers,
