yea i know this is a useless post but still anyone out there living in ohio knows what i'm talking about. i went out to get a pack of smokes and didn't get back till 4 hours later.

anyone else out there have some fun on 2 wheels today? (or for you crazy guys 1 wheel). i've only been riding for a month now but i'm betting this is going to become a life long obsession.

anyways have fun everyone and keep the rubber side down!

It was a perfect day here, too. I rode over to see my folks (Mother's Day, you know!) about 15 miles away. I noticed when I got home I'd put a little over 100 miles on the bike, round trip.

I waited all winter for days like this. And it was wort it!

You know Gene, I just realized I have a friend who lives not far from you, in Statesville, near the 40/77 junction. Next time I fly out there for a visit, I'll have to rent a bike somewhere and have you give me the grand tour.

I left the church parking lot as a storm blew in, and three miles later, I was soaked, and safely home. Very short rides today...to church and back.

Weather was crazy here today too. One minute it looked like it was going to pour, the next the sun was shining away.

I decided to organize the garage a bit (hang up lawn tools and such) and well you can guess where that led. Bill and I in the garage, less than 20 ft from our bikes all morning....After about 20-25 minutes we both just looked at each other and said "wanna go for a ride?" It was driving us crazy, didn't care if it ended up raining at that point....We went out and had a blast!

First time I went out for any kind of extended ride on County highways and such...only really been doing in town stuff around our neighborhood. I'm still a newbie. I conquered several twisty turns and the confidence level has risen!
