I bought a tool to snug the spokes on my DR650se....I have read the service manual. It seems like there must be more to this? just snug them a few turn to the right? Alternate betweeen spokes....???? anyone have some helpful hints?

These instructions are for bicycle wheels, but the principal is the same.
