Audio ad complaint

I have long been dismayed with totalmotorcycle's use of popups/pop-unders, which I consider to be in the same category as spam. Now in addition to that totalmotorcycle has resorted to playing audio advertisements. I go to the forums today, and totalmotorcycle informs me, in a screeching voice, that I may have won an ipod. The popup situation was bad enough as it is, but the voice advertisements are simply off the scale in scumminess. It seems that totalmotorcycle is rapidly degenerating to the level of a scammer/spammer site. I wonder what the next milestone will be...

Pay up or quit whining.
Post in the suggestion forum with all the other popup threads.

People complaining they can't get great information from passionate individuals for free? Well, we've just hit that.

How dare you say something like that! Mike puts his heart into this site and all you give back is a bad mouthing of totalmotorcycle? I get that advertisement all the time, but do you hear me complaining? You disappoint me ninja...

get some sleep.

Why don't you simply point out the issue to Mike via a PM and you'll be surprised to know that he will kill that popup as quick as he can find it. No bad mouthing of the site needed. For your info, this site is Mike's job. With those pop ups, he pays for all the bandwidth that keeps this site up and running as well as pays his own bills. My opinion is that you owe him a sincere appology. Now, if you would just follow the above advice, you'll probably find the pop up gone....

uhh that pop unders been there since I started on this site. Only recently did it start doing it from the ads above. Honestly you could just turn your audio off or be like me and not wear my headphones (I dont have my computer hooked up to the stereo unless im connected to my 55" Television in which I hook up using the optical output

).

Turn the volume down. There were 5 pop-ups when I logged on this morning. It took me, unnn, 3 seconds to close them all. No complaint. Beats the heck out of those sites that half the screen is advertisements that are constantly reloading.

Yea that same ipod ad popped up on me the other day while at work. I had the volume really loud, and everyone was looking around the office like WTF was that? Almost got me caught not working.
