What is your thoughts on having a clear vs smoked windshield?

i have clear w/ a light tint now.
i had a dark smoke before on my previous bike.
i could still see under the dark smoke but you don't really look through it unless you're going 120+mph and fully tucked-in.
and some people can't even physically look through it bec of their body build.
these are for RR bikes though.
me personally... i don't care about smoked screens anymore which is why i didn't change mine right now. tinted windscreens are just for show unlike tinted visors.
what really to me matters is double bubble screens. DB screens aren't just for show. it gives you performance benefits.

My windshield is both. The bottom is black and fades to clear at the top. It matches my bike very well yet leaves the part of the shield I look through clear to view obstacles.
