First post winter beginner oops

#1 Unread post by flw »

Its been since October since I rode last. Today was day 2 since then. I was coming to a stop with no traffic and what did I forget to do? Cover and use the clutch. Duh !!!!!!!!!!!

I seem to have forgetten to spend a couple hours doing a safety review ride after winter. I took for granted the basic of riding 101 just once and that's all it takes. No damage or bike dump. Just embarassment to myself. I am sooo smart sometimes. I spent the next 15 minutes in a parking lot but had to get to work. I work close so I'll do some more after work as well.

I can be so dumb.

Stuff like that is going to happen from time to time. I have an old 60 model pick up three speed manual trans and the other day I climbed in and forgot to depress the clutch before start up and the truck started in gear (reverse) and took off. No harm done. I did not see anyone looking, so it was self embarressment.
