Post about 600cc sport bikes for begginer is bang on right..

#1 Unread post by jetmech727 »

Just finished the MSF yesterday. I passed and now have my M2. However a few times during the course on Yamaha 125 Dirt bikes, I got momentarily mixed up with the throttle and accidentally craked it. The bike lurched forward but was most controllable. First thing I thought about was what if that had occured on a Yamaha R1 or R6 or any of those rockets? I'm sure I would have had time to ponder that question as I lay on the ground watching the bike come down on top of me. Anyway thanks for the warning and I do hope others who are just beggining take that warning seriously, because it really doesin't take much to make a small mistake that could potentially have a very big outcome thats not in your favour.

Thanks for your input. Bike size/power really does make a difference for the newbie. Congratulations on passing the course, and have fun with all your practice time!

Cheers,
