hey all. thanks again for this page and the great info i've found here. passed the MSF class last summer went and got my license last week and found this incredible bike for sale locally for a real good deal.

'02 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 w/ 1600 miles on it. brought it home in my pickup truck a couple days ago and got plates and insurance today. Tomorrow I'll go to town and buy a helmet and some gloves. will look at jackets and pants too.

I'm gonna take it real slow as the MSF course was almost a yr ago. this is a bit more powerful than i probably should have gotten, but i'm comfortable on it as i'm a bigger dude. and it should be a good bike to ride for a long time.

I'm sure I'll have many questions...

here's a couple pix.

I wouldn't worry about the power on it. It is just a tad more powerful than a ninja 250. It is a great starter bike, enjoy it!

Gratz on the Shadow. Never seen on in Yellow before, really looks nice. My wife would love to have that machine.

Wow, that's a beautiful bike.
Looks brand spankin' new.
It would look great with a yellow helmet.
Congratulations and enjoy.

Sweet bike. Just take it easy until you get a feel for it again. Its probably a good idea to re-practice all the MSF maneuvers in an empty parking lot or something before you head on on the road.
