Yea, I like quiet - so much so that I wear ear plugs on every ride. So, having loud pipes would be pretty pointless for meblues2cruise wrote:What?!?!?!?
All kidding aside, noisy pipes are a bane on our existence. It would not surprise me to find that folks who run noisy pipes year after year, have hearing loss.
I like the stock pipes.

i would have too agree some of those bike are damn loud. well i guess i have a damn loud pipe, but i bought the pipe off ebay and didn't reallize it would be so loud. but then again i get more horse power more gas millage with a less retrictive pipe. well i should say straight pipe as D&D make a very high flow pipe. but then again i'm sure i'll "pee" off my neighbor, but not as much as my other neighbor with the awesome custom chopper, wow loud.

i don't like them insanely loud, but i don't like them whisper quiet either. i like a nice rumble and a decent roar when you're getting on it. that being said, i'm going to be replacing my "procreating" insanely loud pipes for something a little more civilized. i don't really NEED to be setting car alarms off as i go

Now his bike is nice and quiet.Big B wrote:i don't like them insanely loud, but i don't like them whisper quiet either. i like a nice rumble and a decent roar when you're getting on it. that being said, i'm going to be replacing my "procreating" insanely loud pipes for something a little more civilized. i don't really NEED to be setting car alarms off as i go

The young kids down the street think it's funny when I hammer it going past their house. I aim to please.blues2cruise wrote:You could remember to be gentle on your throttle until after you get out of your neighbourhood.![]()

I watched a few of your videos. Your counter steering video is probably the best explanation yet. Seeing it is worth the thousand words everyone seems to need to explain a quite simple technique.RideYourRide wrote:The young kids down the street think it's funny when I hammer it going past their house.
