I just got my bike back from the dealership. They were supposed to rejet the carb and do the valve adjust. I installed a hypercharger and pipes a while ago. When I did i jetted the carb myself, but something has been off ever since. So I decided I should just let them do it so I dont have to worry about it. So here is the problem now. If I dont run it hard everything is great, but if I try and take off quickly as soon as I get into second gear and get back on the gas it wants to bog down and wont go like its not getting enough gas or something. Any ideas on what the problem is?

If it's bogging down when you get on the gas hard, it might be flooding.

You could try taking it back to the dealership and telling them something's not right. They should do what they have to do to make you happy. But back in the real world where customer service seems to be a lost art, here are some thoughts:

You could try synching the carbs. JC Whitney has a vacuum gauge that costs about $52. I orderd one the other day, but don't have it yet.

My bike has a "pilot screw" on each of the carbs (I don't know if all carbureted bikes have those) that controls the air/fuel mixture, you might need to adjust them so they get more air.

Do you still have factory air filter(s)? If so, you might need to upgrade to something that lets in more air since you've made engine and exhaust modifications.

There must be forums somewhere that are specific to your bike, you might find more specific help there.

THE guide for CV carb tuning. However, you shouldn't need this because you paid the dealer money to have it done right and you did not get what you paid for. Talk with one of their techs, be reasonable but firm - your bike isn't properly running.

Yeah mine has a pilot mixture screw in each carb as well. I am running a K&N air filter, so I doubt that is the problem. I will be taking the bike back to them in the morning. In the end I guess I could do it myself, but like you guys said, I paid the money already because I didnt want to mess with it. Ill report back later.
