Bus Lane only...we could use it here

#1 Unread post by blues2cruise »

Now if we can import this technology and make it applicable we would have really accomplished something. Just think, there would be 98 % less traffic in Richmond and the rest of the lower mainland.

NEW BUS LANE IN MANCHESTER, ENGLAND

In the spirit that helped win two world wars the British have eradicated cretins from the Bus Lane.

Note that the Royal Mail van gets the same privileges as the buses! This is scary. A good case for seat belts!!

THAT was awsome!
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Holy cannoli, Batman! That was too funny. I guess some people just don't want to trust those big, red do-not-come-over-here signs.

Cheers,

What can I say except we have our share of idiots that Darwin has yet to catch up with...

If that is the full version of the one I saw last year then the white van near the end is particulary impressive display as seat belts are mandatory here...

On the flipside. Our Government recently made a U turn and recomended that motorbikes be allowed to use Bus Lanes... Yay!!! Now I just have to pressure my stupid council.

Don't use a bus lane then, if you aren't supposed to. Or as Kal said, ride around. Personally I avoid riding over metal drain covers and the like, anyway

uhh like kal mentioned ride around. i mean those posts have to be what 4 feet apart. if your bike cant ride through that gap you got some issues.
