Buyer Beware, Fieldsheer "Booster" pants

I bought a pair of brand-new off the rack Fieldsheer "Booster" pants earlier this week. When I got them home I noticed a large, approximately 1.5 inch, hole in the waist where the elastic attaches to the nylon material behind the right hip. The next day I took them back to the store to exchange. As I was looking through the rack I discovered that about 1/3 of the pants on the rack, in several sizes, had a hole in the same place, ranging in size from 1/4 inch to almost 2 inches. Apparently there was an issue with the elastic not getting sew far enough into the seam, leaving a hole or allowing one to form.
I would like to add that Cliff's Cycle Center in Bremerton, Wa was very helpful. They refunded my money, pulled other defective pants off the rack, and actually made a phone call to (I assume) Fieldsheer to let them know about the issue.
