Riding in groups with strangers can sometimes SUCK!
This has happened to me!

But not this bad.
The clip is not that bad, but it's bad enough, so if your not used to graphic stuff, don't watch it.

That is bad enough. So... which part of that happened to you? Were you the hitter or did you get hit. We need details!

Awful. Glad you survived it, Al. Are you banged up, and did your bike survive?

Ouch. That really scares me. Nice website Oz - I checked it out today. As soon as I get this mortgage paid off in about 500 years I'm gonna come take a trip.

My little incident happened about 1976!
Z900 rammed into my rear end.
No damage to bike, well not too much anyway.

I'll look forward to seeing you then when I'm fresh out of the Cryogenic chamber!

If you notice, the rider who actually did the crashing put his left foot down, while riding

. I've always heard that that is a definite no no

I don't understand how that happens. In the couple incidences I've had with skidding, my first instinct is to avoid contact with the road. Depends on the person I guess.

Look at some mtorcycle racing crashes and you will see a lot of riders getting one or both feet down in an attempt to stay upright. In some instances it is just pure instinct to throw a leg out to save yourself.
