Increasing performance of a CG125 copy

#1 Unread post by ryanzzr400 »

Hi, I've got a chinese dirtbike (Shineray GY125) with a CG125 copy engine and I'm looking for any easy performance upgrades. I can get 63mph out of it at the moment in a long straight line and I'm getting bored, luckily I've got a ZZR 400 waiting for me once I pass my test next month :D

It has a big black box airfilter at the moment, would replacing that with a k&n cone style air filter affect it in anyway?

Any ideas welcome, but nothing expensive :)
Thanks

Probably not enough to matter. Just wait till you get the other bike. Not much out there cheap and easy enough to be worthwhile to you.
