I am modifying a 1980 honda cm400t. Individual breathers, 2 in 1 exhaust, new bars, etc... I would really like to swap wheels with a honda rebel. the cm400 has these nasty 80's fake mag wheels. The rebel has spokes.
My question is does anyone know if this is doable w/ out major fabrication and retro-fitting. I called a local dealership as well as honda america but neither of them could give me the axle or spacer specifications on either bike. They were as stumped as me. I want to know what I'm getting into before I buy new wheels. Any help, ideas, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks...
