Hey everyone,

I have a 05 Suzuki Bandit 650S. The current clutch is not adjustable and it way too far of a reach for me. My hand ends up cramping up within 30mins of a ride. I would like to purchase an aftermarket adjustable clutch lever however am running into difficulty with finding a compatible lever. I think this problem is due mainly, to my bike not being offered for sale in the US - therefore, manufactures do not list my bike as being compatible for the part.

Does anyone know of any bikes that have the same handlebar set up as my bandit and that I could use to search for parts? Or does anyone own a 05 bandit 650 that would know a clutch lever that will fit? My local dealership doesn't show any compatible levers either. My next option is to take the bike down to a shop and get the to manual size something up.

I would gather Pazzo makes a lever for your bike. Send an email to them, let them know what bike you haev and therep should help you match a current model to your bike perch. I talked to Markus who was extremely helpful.

That is exactly how I got mine. There are no levers made for my bike as it is Japan spec. However, Honda uses the several perches on all their bikes. As it turns out, my perches are the same as the 599/919. So I used a lever from that.


If you don't want to go to pazzo, go find other suzuki bikas and try on the levers to see if you can find a match. More than l ikely, US model Suzukis in the same family as your Bandit may have an identical setup. Check out the SV650/650S

first of all Does your bike have a hydralic clutch,
if it dosnt, to get a crg leaver or a pazzo lever, just change the purch the clutch leaver attaches too, from a machine that they do make a lever for, now if your clutch is a hydralic, you can do the exact same thing but it may cost a little more.

I"m actually in Edmonton so your help on getting the parts would be greatly appreciated. I do not believe my clutch is hydrolic. I know the new 07s are, but I'm qutie sure mine is not. I will double check in the manual however.

You just need a quick look at the left bar: if there is a reservoir = hydraulic. If there is only lone cable = cable.

Anything off a 7/8" bar should fit. I'm pretty much positive that your bandit has a cable clutch. If you want someone to do the work let me know .

Sev, can I just call riverside again and ask them for an adjustable clutch off a 7/8 bar and it'd work then? And yeh, your help in installation would be awesome!!

(and don't tell younggun until you've got em on!)
