Hey From Ohio

#1 Unread post by 45ACP »

Hello Everyone,
I just got my first bike last week, and have been trying to soak up as much of the site as possible. I am going to be taking the MSF course ASAP, but it looks like they are booked through October here. I probably got a lot of bike to start with, but I am doing my best to learn as much as I can. It is a 1980 Suzuki GS1100E. I have removed the bar, rack, and trunk since this picture was taken. The engine was repainted by a previous owner, which is the only drawback.

Welcome fellow Ohioan! If you show up on the Friday night of each MSF course (and you have your learner's permit and money in hand), you can take any empty slot left by a no-show student. During my class there were three no-shows on the first night, and there were just two guys waiting to take their place. Give it a try.

Where in Ohio are you? We have a small group that meets up once in awhile in the area near Columbus/Dayton/Cincinnatti.

Enjoy the forums!

Cheers,
Loonette

I am going to, thanks for the tip! I think the next class is this weekend, so that would be perfect!
