How often do you guys ride in just a tshirt? It was so nice out the other day, and even though I felt unprotected, it was amazing.

i'm sure it would be thrilling on a nice warm day. heck a t-shirt and no helmet would be amazing, but while i don;t like to live in fear, my better judgment would say it's not a good idea.

be careful. I remember how my back and arms looked after a nasty 30+ mph road spill on a big hill decend from my 10 speed as a kid coming home from work one day in shorts and a t-shirt. i shudder to think what that would look like at 50-60+ mph. I still have a scar on my elbow where the bone was sticking out completely.

I ride in a sleeveless T whenever the weather permits. I know I'd loose my skin in a crash but I like living on the edge. It make me feel alive. :D

I don't ride into big traffic with just a t shirt but it's not too bad to ride in a t shirt just around the block.

God gave us mesh for a reason.

I wouldn't do it.

I did do it, the first day I rode a bike. Never again.

All the gear all the time.

Just the kind of girl I am. It's all about assessing your level of risk and accepting it or, if you can't, minimizing it to an acceptable level. It's very personal.

A tshirt and jeans is a great ride....but one must take responsibiloty and accept potential pain and death if one chooses this path.

It's easier to gear up than apply sunscreen, anyways. 8)

I paid a lot of $$$ for my gear....I will wear it. ATGATT.

I would have been in far worse shape on Saturday if I had not been in proper gear. Even at 20kmh one can sustain injuries. It's just not worth the risk. I value my skin.
