Gear to school.
Gear to school.
Or other places for that matter, I love riding to my school, but theres simply nowhere to put my gear! How do you guys deal with that, I put my gloves in my backpack, and just carry my helmet, but theres nothing for me to do with my jacket, so ive honestly ridden without it a few times and thats a real bad decision by me.

Re: Gear to school.
hmm im assuming your talking college. lets see college has chairs and hell some classrooms even have coat racks. so wear jacket between classes and then drape it over chair in classroom or coat rack in classroom. seems pretty common sense to me. High school is a different story but if it was high school you probably couldnt bring your helmet around either????-regr3t- wrote:Or other places for that matter, I love riding to my school, but theres simply nowhere to put my gear! I've also heard of people buying a light weight cable lock, and running it through the arms and locking it to your bike. As long as it isn't raining, that should keep your jacket safe. I carry mine with me and when I get where I'm going I throw it on my chair. I would lock my helmet to my bike in your case, unless your bike has not helmet lock.

I went to a mid sized college and there were no coat racks or lockers. I usually just carried my helemt and jacket and just put it into the back of the classroom. It became a pain in the (!) My senior year of college I knew the department secretary pretty well and she let me store my stuff there untill the end of her workday. I personally would never leave anything locked up on campus on the bike. But this is your call...-regr3t- wrote:ahhh, sorry for not clarifying. I go to college. But its more of a run down community college lol, so it doesnt really have coat racks or anything, just the regular school desks. But thanks for the ideas! they are all really helpful!
Yeah, definately not planning on locking things on the bike, at my school people have broken into cars to take things more than once... and people have been robbed in the parking lot lol. Combine that with our island having the highest bike theft rate in the US, and its just not the best choice for me.I went to a mid sized college and there were no coat racks or lockers.
