Awesome Ride

I had a great ride on Sunday 4-22-07. I got up in the morning and it was nice and cool for a florida day. I went to church from 8-9 am. After church I headed out on SR70 westbound to meet up with my friends.
I met them at Pogies (local restaurant in Okeechobee, Florida) around 9:30 am. They already ate, but I hadn't. After I finished, we headed northbound on SR441. The weather was just perfect. It was a little cloudy to keep the Florida sun from burning you up, and the temp was around 70 - 75 f. It was just right for me to where my jacket.
We headed to Yeehaw Junction on SR60 for a rest stop. On the way two vehicles passed the pack and almost had a head on collision. One was a dually truck pulling a fifth wheel. We had to move over to the side of the road to keep form being ran over as he was not able to make it passed us before an oncoming vehicle pushed him over.
Shortly after, another vehicle passed up coming up to a curve, and guess what..... An oncoming vehicle pushed him into our lane. Again, we had to move over to the edge of the road to keep form getting ran over.
Besides those two incidents, we had a great ride. We continued north to SR192, and then headed east to the beach. We rode back home along the beach. All in all we road about 200 miles. It was a great time. The weather was great and comfortable. I couldn't have asked for a better day to ride. I think other bikers knew it too, because we saw a lot, and I mean a lot, of bikes that day.
Days like that make you wonder why everyone doesn't ride a motorcycle. As I have on my vehicle, "I'll sell my kidney on ebay before I'll sell my Harley".......
