I'm a 16 year old sophomore, and my mom won't let me get a motorcycle. I want to get a Ninja 250 to start out on, but since those hopes are dashed, I want to go for something more attainable. I want to get a used dirt bike so I can have a break-in to motorcycles. Where can I find some cheap ones? I'm going to look in local newspapers and stuff; are there any websites that come to mind? Thanks for any help.

One of my favorites is www.craigslist.com. It's a free site for classifieds. From their main page, select your state from the column of links on the right, then go to motorcycles under the for sale section. Good luck!
