What are your tales of this bike, and what made you buy it.

I learned on one...does that count? It was a great bike to learn on! Not to much power, not to scary, very forgiving, and fun :D.

My bf bought it as a bike to commute on, great gas mileage.

Speaking of the EX250, is anybody sure if using the built-in helmet lock that's so close to the exhaust causes damage to the helmet?

If I find a decent one used I'll probably do the same. Only thing is I'm afraid if I do that I'll never ride my cruiser again :)

I know nothing about this bike except for what I have read in the TMW forums.
I never really had any interest in sport type bikes.....until I read this write up.

This was posted to another newbie in TMW so I will post it here for you to read as well.

After reading this guy's report, it makes me want to go get one.

oops....edited to add the link.

It will out-accellerate a Ford Mach 1 and a Ferrari Testarossa. Check it out:
http://www.albeedigital.com/supercoupe/ ... times.html
http://www.ninja250.info/newbies/ninja2 ... /specs.htm

It will hit 105MPH.

It will survive highsiding in gravel.

It will survive bouncing off a guardrail.

It will survive being blown off the highway at 70MPH by crosswinds.

However, it will NOT survive college girls cutting into your lane in a Honda Civic during rushhour traffic on the 101...

Fun to ride too.

Doubtful! He jumps at the chance to take long rides on his other bike! Plus the other one looks better riding next to mine  (1980 Honda CB750).
