loose mirror

my bike has a loose right mirror, if not so you see mostly the sky it falls and i can only see my chest/stomach. i noticed this while riding yesterday. anyone know how to tighten it?
good thing lefty still is tight. thanks in advance.

Is there a nut at the base where the mirror meets the handlbars? Does it just screw in? If it's a press fit, pull it all the way out, bash it with a hammer and then use said hammer to beat it back in.
BTW: It would help if you mentioned what make, model, etc. the bike is.

i found the problem, while checking it over the ball type thing is broken, and then after checking some plants i found out why, i keep walkin too close to the bike and bumpin into the mirror.
but sadly i need a new mirror
