Wow, addiction :)

I had to take my bike in tonight for the 600 mile service (and my bike actually has 1000 miles on it... whoops). After I dropped it off my friend picked me up in his car. I got in and it felt weird for some reason. I was very aware of the walls all around me and the roof. Then I realized I haven't even been in a car in practically a week, let alone drive one.

And of course it was a gorgeous, gorgeous night out and there were bikes out everywhere :( Heh heh, I think I'll live :)

Certified in love with motorcycles. You'll have to pry my bike out of my dead cold hands!

I sold the VF500 I had (the work to get it aesthetically where I wanted it was just cost prohibitive to get something that just "worked"), and was feeling the same. I just purchased a Bandit that needs crazy carb work, and just dropped it off today. Definitely feeling the jones.

Yeah, I remember when I bought my first road bike. All I did that summer was ride. All day every day and most of the nights -- scrounge $5 to fill the tank, ride until empty, repeat.

I am going on nearly two years without a car. I ride in the wife's car once in a while, but in those two years I have taken a car to work about three times. I get in her car to drive it and forget the seatbelt, headlights... "what are these wiper things again" :-D

The cr@ppiest bike is still better than the coolest car ;-)

Now it's like $10 to fill the tank :(

Better than the $60 to fill my truck, though. Plus, at 3.5 times the miles per gallon, it is definitely the way to go if travelling solo.
