Hi folks!
This is my first post to the forum!!! I've recently bought a Daytona that is a couple of years old (without manual

) and I got today an orange warning light on the dashboard... I've no idea what it means... I looked around, asked, read, and frankly... I'm lost
Anyone out there know of this problem? Please help!
Many thanks in advance!

Could be anything from a low fuel indicator to a bad sensor to a preset hourmeter to tell the owner when it's service time to the self destruct button... You need to pop for a good service manual for your bike. An owners manual will tell you about this light (probably), but it's no good for anything more involved. Do you and your bike a favor and get a service manual. It will be the best money you ever spent on maintenance. It will save you money in the long run.
Plus there is alot of good info in there about everything from changing oil to setting the suspension.
Sorry I can't tell you what your light means.

You're going to have to take it to a Triumph dealer. He'll have a "reader" that'll plug into the ecu and give a list of all the error codes that are causing the light to come on. As BuzZz said, it could be anything from a bad sensor to a full on the bike is going to explode (not REALLY likely on the boomy part).
But without using the reader to check it, and clear the error logs (some errors self correct themselves but the code remains) that light will always be on.
