Hello from Illinois

Howdy all,

Just registered onto the TMW forum and it looks pretty cool. I'm a long time rider and belong to a number of motorcycle forums. I live in Southwest Illinois and the riding season seems to be getting longer with global warming, but not long enough to suit me. My riding habits have changed over the years and I don't do as much long distance touring as I used to (my wife does not ride with me and prefers that I stay closer to home). So I do a lot of solo riding in the rural area where we live. I like it that way. In addition to motorcycling, I'm a musician, songwriter, and inventor. My daytime gig is in the Data Networking field. I played music professionally most of my life and currently play guitar and banjo in a bluegrass band. We released a CD just last year with all new original bluegrass music. You can hear all the songs in MP3 format at www.bluerivercb.com. I don't make any money at it, but it sure is fun! (Commercial ad removed - Admin) Well, I think that about does it for my introduction. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the forum topics in the months to come. Peace to all...... :D

Advice on picture upload

Hi guys,

Sorry, I went to IMGSpot and uploaded a jpeg photo of my bike and the code appeared in the different boxes, but I don't know what to do to get it inserted into the left side along with my username. ??? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The web forum topic page that contains the instructions has boxes that mark where images should be, but they don't open up and I cannot see what they are. Thanks, jamnjim

Go to your profile and upload the avatar pic. That will place it by your name on the left.
