I just happened to cruise by a local dealer and saw a nice looking bike out front... turns out it was the new Benelli, a 2007 Tornado Naked Tre 1130: this Black one with the red frame -- the Sport version:

Turns out they are the new Benelli dealer in town (Pro-Am in Calgary, AB). Benelli's Canadian web-site: http://benelli.ca/ shows about a half dozen Canadian dealers. Even being made in China now (I think) it was a pricey piece of motorcycle. Expensive enough that I forgot the price quickly

Very nice looking naked, street-fighter bike. The way they styled around the side-mounted rads was pretty impressive. Definitely a challenge to make it look right, and I think did a nice job with it.

Here's specs on the Sport model:

:biker: Well back to riding. The weather here has been awesome lately, so no real reason to be on-line (unless doing a quick search for new bike info occassionally :P or um, maybe looking for employment (snicker) :bag:)

Damn it... I left the Vstrom in with the GSXR last night- now look what happened!

I think it's a sexy bike. Anyone had the chance to throw a leg over?

The TNT is an awesome bike. It definitely gets attention wherever I ride it. Benelli still makes the bikes in Italy.
The bike is amazingly well balanced and the triple engine really puts out a great scream around 7,000 RPM. It's a true Italian exotic and the price is right.
