I hurt my back at work . I can't ride

. That is the worst part, especially now that it is really nice out! I tried to ride Monday, after about 5 miles I had to come home.
Blues - now I feel your pain! I need to find something to occupy my time now. Still working part time...waiting on some workers comp crap. I think its a slipped or herniated disk. SOOOO frustrated! Especially since the bf rides everyday - no fair lol. Its like riding a bicycle though right? I wont forget how

I hope you feel better! Hopefully it's just a bad strain instead of a ruptured disk.
Have a fast and speedy recovery. Don't worry, your bike will still be there when you're ready to ride again.

If it makes you feel better, my bike has stranded me on the road *twice* in the past month. It's been sitting in my yard since last Wednesday.

Actually if I had a back rest, something to support my lower back I would be good to go...

They should have them available for any bike. If not, let me know what you ride and I'll see if I can fab something up.

Ive been looking online and cant find much! I have a 94 Yamaha Virago 535. The boyfriend has 10,000 motorcycle catalogues laying around, I shall start browsing through them. Haha, I used to get mad that he had them all over the place (before I got a bike)

!!
Thank you

Something like this may work!

Or I may just look totally ridiculous...lol.
Eek, 185$! I may have to keep looking. Part time working wont allow that in the budget.

It is like riding a bike.....a couple of years ago I had a surgery on my hand and was unable to ride for almost three months. When I got back on it was like I has just ridden the day before.
Welcome to the wonderful world of having the internet occupy your time. Although I have been told my humour has resorted to

and that I need to hurry up my healing.
Keep your fingers crossed....maybe it's only strained muscles.
If you want a cheap easy fix to see if a back rest would help...place a rolled up sleeping bag right behind your seat and secure it with bungees or something. Even my milk crate served the purpose on occasion.
