On our little ridethismorning as I was steady cruising, I could hear a very faint low level whir/hum. It kind went...wrrooaamm...wrrrooamm..wrrrooaamm...It wasn't loud. It wasn't drastic, very low key, but it was there. I'm guess it was in the front. And I'm taking a stab that it was the wheel bearing.
Does this sound like a bearing gone/going bad? I don't think I'll tackle it myself, probably take it to the shop as I need to get my rear tire replaced. But I'd liketo be ableto point them in the right direction since I don't think they'll be test riding my bike lol
Wheel/axle bearing?

Jack the front end up, grab the wheel with both hands 180 degrees apart. Parallel to the ground and basically attempt to twist the wheel towards and away from you. If you feel any movement back and forth at all then you're probably in need of a new bearing.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
