Finally...

#1 Unread post by MrStitch »

I did it!

I bit that bullet, and got my new toy. Say hello to the newest member of the family....

Image

Honda 750.... brand spanking new 2007!

I bought a windshield as I'll be doing a TON of highway driving, and a passenger backrest... which was insanely expensive. $330 to be exact. I don't have a problem buying after market objects, so I'll need to find a good place to pick those up at.

The dealer had an after market backrest, but it just didn't look NEARLY as good as the Honda one.... go figure, right?

Suggestions on a good place to pick up the after markets?

I got some riding in last night, and right away noted the first thing I need to work on.... slow speed riding/turning. The highway stuff is a piece of cake, and the bike balances extremely well. But those slow turns are just killing me. Luckily I don't live in an area clogged with traffic everywhere, so I can work on that everyday, any time, without life threatening interruptions.

Woke up today like a kid on Christmas, only to find out it's raining..... hows that for irony. hahhahaha

Wish me luck on my very first bike, and drop me some tips to find some after market accessories. :)

JP cycles metric catalog would be a good place to start.

Then try google.
Dyin'? Boy, he can have this little life any time he wants to. Do ya hear that? Are ya hearin' it? Come on. You're welcome to it, ol' timer. Let me know you're up there. Come on. Love me, hate me, kill me, anything. Just let me know it.

Congrats on the new bike. :biker:

My previous bike was a 750 Shadow and I put 14k on the old girl before moving up. She never gave me a bit of trouble.

Congrats.
A dog had his chain reduced one link at a time, every few days, until his chain was so short he could barely move. He never resisted because he was conditioned to the loss of his freedom slowly, over time. Are we in this country becoming like the dog?

Congrats!
