Abdulla is first in motorcycle race
MUNTHER Abdulla clinched his second consecutive title in the nine-round Bahrain Desert Motorcycle Championship, organised by the Bahrain Motorcycle Club near the Shaikh Isa bin Salman highway.
Eight drivers took part in the second leg which was held over 18 kms divided into three stages.
Mohammed Al Khenaizi, who finished third in the first round, was second while Yousef Karimi third.
Bahrain Motor Federation general secretary Rashid Al Zayani presented the trophies and other awards to the winners in presence of club president Isa Al Awadi and other club officials.
Al Awadi thanked event sponsors Euro Motors and Chase Cafe for their support.
Al Awadi said the next event will be held after the Gulf Air Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix scheduled to be held on April 1, 2 and 3.
