snaped valve cover bolts

If a couple of valve cover bolts had been snapped off by some idiot monkey, does anyone have any idea how much time it would take to ez-out the screws and re assemble the cover.
The bike is a 84 Honda cb650.
Am i right to assume, take off the tank, take off the valve cover, cover engine internals, ez-out screws and reassemble?
Also should i be worried about filings in the engine, or anything else? And of course the price is a lot lower than a complete Motorbike.
Any help appreciated, thanks.

The easiest way to avoid getting any crud in the cylinders/engine when removing the broken bolts would be to remove the head as well. No need to remove the cylinders, just the valve cover and head. This way you can set the head on a workbench and it will be much easier to get at and remove the broken bolts.
The other benefit to this is then you can also inspect the valves and the top of the pistons for carbon buildup, and also replace any worn out valve seals if you need to.
If you find that you are unable to remove the broken bolts yourself, it is also then easier to put the head into a box and take it into a machine shop to have them drill out the bolts and clean up the threads. I had to do this when I rebuilt the top end of my old suzuki.
When dis-assembling the top end (or any other part of the bike for that matter, make sure that you have a good organizational setup beforehand so that you can keep track of all your parts in an easy to find manner that also shows what goes where. If for any reason you find that you can't get back to reassembling things for a while, it will make it easier when you do get the chance. I used egg cartons to keep track of all my parts.
Most important thing to remember though is to keep everything clean and cover any holes that lead into the engine.
