As I'm out looking for a new bike I've been seeing a lot of "specials" at the local dealers where they are offering discounts of $400-$500 off of suggested list price. Are motorcycle prices as negotiable as car prices? Im curious, for those who have bought new bikes "How much did you save off of list price?"

From my readling here, in general, no they are not flexible but in some locations they are.
It all depends on the local market of supply and demand. Along with the season of the year.

I got $200 under MSRP out the door. So that would be a total of what $500-600 off?

Got a police discount and then the 07's were out so I got more for buying a "leftover" and then they hooked me up with a repeat customer discount and for bringing a friend that bought a bike they threw in a gel seat. However the seat was already installed in the showroom, overall I saved approx. 1200.00
Not bad but I owe more on the bike than it is currently worth!
