SCAM warning NW calgary

#1 Unread post by Britjoe »

Any how, I have a night off, and for the few prvious nights my Girl friend was complaining she hadnt slept well and was woken up by the door bell at 3 am....I thought stupid "dog" was hearing "poo poo",

Any how 3am last night I got a knocking and a door bell ring, repeatly noisey and loud,
anyhow I went to the door in my underpants and there was a 25 year old women there in a panic saying, I need your help. she said she needed to use the phone. (thinking about she made a "pee" poor attempt, of contacting someone)
then she said, she needs 28 dollars to pay for a lock smith she lives a few doors down, can you help, her kid had split her head open, and she had a bad day.
I didnt have the cash, and I said I couldnt help with the money. and she went on her way.

my naibours allso got a visit, and called the police, aparently the women was hiding behind my bush for a while and was picked up arround the corner in a car.

I guess the bottom line is dont answer the door, but Hell I work nights and this was my first night off in weeks....
and if I was at work last night like normal the kids would of been here alone.
"procreating" creeps

Aaahh, crack. It's a wonderful thing. :?

One thing about living in Hicksville compared to the City, is any loud, frantic knocking at 3 am on my door gets you a nice close-up of the barrel of my gun.

Truthfully, the same applies when I do live in the City, just that the chances that I will get arrested go up dramatically.
No Witnesses.... :shifty:

Generally, go with your cynical side on these things and tell these people to F-off. I need money for: "a bus to go to work", "an operation", "a taxi ride from the hospital", "locksmith", "debit card doesn't work", etc, etc, etc. Your better side is going to want to help these people out, but you know they're just going to use your money on drugs/booze.

I thought it was illegal in Calgary for the bums to say anything but, "Do you have any spare change?".
