Well, I'm on my way, kinda bummed out that Donna's not on this trip, as it was originally her idea to make this journey. I got off work this morning at 07:30, went home and got about 4 hours sleep. I then finished packing and loaded up the trailer. I made a couple of quick stops in town before hitting the highway, but by 5:30, I was on my way. First leg of the trip got me to Kamloops BC. I wasn't tired yet, but being dark and having already put in a whole days work, I thought it would be wise to get a good nights sleep. I'm in no big hurry right now so it will make for a couple of short days and then I'll be in Edmonton...

So today was a long day. Not because I had far to go, but I didn't sleep well and I had onehell of a tough time riding in my tired state. I finally "woke" up and made good time in the afternoon. Jasper was one busy town, no vacancies anywhere so I headed out of town and hit Hinton. Got a room and went for dinner and a drink (or two...)Here's the route for today. Tomorrow will be Edmonton for a couple of days...

Well, I was found by KarateChick just outside Edmonton in a little town called Stoney Plain. I was sitting in a Timmy Ho's and was met with a big hug and a ton of smiles.
Had a great visit with sev while he replaced my brake pads, (Thanx sev.)
Went for a ride to get a helmet then had dinner and another ride with a brand new rider on the back... I was delighted to have such a good pillion as well as honoured to be trusted with someone else's small package.
Soon to be time for bed....
