scared myself last night...

#1 Unread post by telefunkin »

So I was heading home last night around 9:30, cruising along the highway doing about 100kph when I hit a small pothole. Normally not a big issue, but when I hit it, I was a in a left curve getting hit with a crosswind pushing me right. It happened really fast, but from what I can remember it felt like the bike went from the leaning curve position to upright and back down into the lean within maybe 1 second.

Generally, in this type of scenario, will the bike right itself?

I can't shake that feeling that I got lucky on this one.

the bike will almost always right itself, you just have to be loose on the bars enough to let the bike react without you trying to control it.
