Hey guys, Im looking for a Kawie KLR650 and i´ve noticed that many sellers claim to have the "Doohickey" done to their bikes and the first thing that pops into my head is that they are deranged haha... I want to know what it is, how useful it would be and why its called that.
Also what you think of the KLR.
Thanks a lot

Looks like the bike comes stock with a really crappy idler shaft lever, and lots of people replace it before it ruins their engines.
Seems like a fairly involved replacement, so having the doohickey already replaced would be a very good thing.

Absolutely correct.
I have an extended warranty on my KLR that keeps me covered for another 2 years, so I haven't bothered to 'do the doo' yet. I'll get around to it sometime - maybe before my warranty expires or immediately after that.

Imagine that. A guy named Gadjet that doesn't have a doohickey

Incorrect kemosoggy. I do have a doohickey, just not the 'new improved' model.

So your doohickey is old and obsolete?

So your doohickey is old and obsolete?
But still very functional
