Been lurking for a while, and thought I should introduce myself.

I hail from the great state of Oregon, and am currently living in the Portland area. Plenty of nice back roads to ride on, if you don't mind the rain 9 months out of the year...

As the proud new owner of a 1996 FZR-600R, I have spent many hours browsing this wonderful site, soaking in all the information you fine people have to offer.

Just wanted to say thanks for the great website, and I look forward to becoming a more active member of the Total Motorcycle Community!

I really do love this state, it has so much variety I never get bored.

You can start at the ocean, head into the rainforest, climb a mountian to play in the snow, and then wander into the desert, all without leaving the state.

I also love the flora and fauna we have around here. I grew up in the middle of nowhere surrounded by deer, elk, bear, bobcat, cougar, coyote, porcupines, possums, raccoons, rabbits, etc...

Did I mention the miles and miles of backroads with absolutely no traffic? :D

Oh, I forgot to mention... It rains all the time here. Don't move here, you won't like it...
