I went out for lunch today at work and all of a sudden I see a woman ride by on a motorcycle with training wheels. No Idea that was ever done ... wow.

They have stuff called 'landing gear' and the like. Mechanical and retractable, most often. Used by disabled people and elderly riders who aren't always stable at a stop.

I've heard of "landing gear" for Goldwings, but never for smaller bikes.

That's awesome. Another new invention us 21st century digital boys have to look forward to when we're old and otherwise can't do anything!

HD made some of these before WWII and tried to sell them to the Army. They would fold up in place of panniers when not in use. Military however had other ideas like putting the best riders on as couriers, and outfitting many bikes with hacks.

They won't be needed once people get a good look at the Piaggio MP3 250 or 400/500*

*I don't remember what the higher up model would be.

Yes, that invention is great, I like them.
