hi everyone i have 1980 yamaha 650 maxim xj.this bike ,when i shift into 2nd gear it makes a chatter and does not work .the shifts great thru the other gears. i was told that the tranny has a 2nd gear fork thats gone kaput .what is the answer to this problem........ are there any good mechanics tha can tell me something ?It would be well appreaciated ///////////lol im not good at this computer stuff thanks oscar

Your tranny has a second gear fork that has gone kaput.
