1975 Kawasaki KE100 bogging/revving problem

#1 Unread post by nruzicka2006 »

ok so here is the deal-- with everyones help on the idle problem it had i fixed it, now more problems. ok to start off, it starts fine if i put the choke on, but if i leave the choke on any amount of time after it starts it just revs up really high (is that normal for 2 strokes when using a choke?) so once it starts i push the choke off and it idles fine, but when i go to rev it it just dies down but if it does rev up the rev hangs there for a second and then comes down to the idle and vice versa if i rev it it takes a second for it to kick in and then it revs and hangs for a second and then comes back down. i put the air screw 1.5 turns out like the manual said and it seems to be idling fine so any suggestions would help

thanks,
Nick

Take it apart and clean the jets again :(
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
